Qualifications
National/Scottish Vocational Qualifications (N/SVQs) are occupational qualifications based on standards of competence set by industry, offered by Awarding Bodies such as Skills Assurance Services Ltd (SASL) and accredited by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (QCA) and the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA).
Assessor & Verifier Units
These have replaced the ‘D32/D33’ units for workplace assessors. The new ‘A’ units (and corresponding ‘V’ units for verifiers) were developed, after extensive consultation with employers, learning providers, awarding bodies, government agencies and all other interested parties.
Sign Making
SASL is affiliated with the British Sign and Graphics Association (BSGA) and together we offer N/SVQs for the sign making industry.
Business Improvement Techniques
The Business Improvement Techniques Standards have been developed as a means to assist organisations in the improvement of their business performance, by applying techniques of continuous improvement.
